That’s a lot of hoses to replace and I think some of those are no longer available from honda, is that correct? So many parts are coming end of life. And even if they are available, wouldn’t those hoses have been manufactured years and years ago and so wouldn’t the rubber be aged as well and...
After reading this, now I’m getting nervous also. I had always just worried about timing belt failure destroying my engine, but it sounds like coolant hose failure will do the same. Is there a recommended time/mileage for mandatory coolant hose replacement similar to timing belt schedule...
I've been debating whether to use some of the old original taller oil filters I have that are probably 20 years old vs buying the new current smaller ones. My worry is whether the paper material inside the old filters have gone brittle over time and will just disintegrate into pieces when used...
Oh they charge tax too?? That isn’t mentioned anywhere in the ordering process so I assumed it wasn’t charged. I guess I’ll see. They charged me for the part already but I guess I have to wait for it to arrive at their facility before I pay again for shipping. I think that’s how it works.
Thanks... I think I'll take the gamble and order the real left hand drive part that I need and see if it really arrives genuine and new for less than half the price of the US dealers.
Is this Impex Japan site a legit place to buy Genuine Honda parts for USA vehicles? That LHD part 77502-SL0-A93ZA is what I want but all the online sites from USA dealers, the part is $750+. This Impex Japan has it listed for $285.79. Is it genuine Honda? Has anyone bought from them...
I mean it's not Acura... it's Honda. But it looks like a genuine label to me.
I just don't know if this is really a right hand drive part and whether it can be installed in my usa left hand drive car.
Hi there,
Looking for some very specific help here on the glovebox... My glovebox door is starting to look a little worn and I'd like to replace it while I can still get the part. In the parts catalog, it looks like 77502-SL0-A93ZA is the part number and it's crazy expensive at around $800...
I had the same problem when I was looking for OEM size for my 2004. Go look at Yokohama. They are about the only ones left with OEM sizes. I didn't want/need the ultra sticky tires either, so I ended up buying the Yokohama FLEVA V701.
I don’t suppose shock replacement on an NSX is a DIY if I don’t have spring compressors correct? Anyone have any idea how many hours labor a shop will charge to replace two front shocks?
It’s not the price of the shocks that concerns me. It’s that I have to have someone install them and thus they’d have to mess with the suspension on all 4 corners to do all 4. Not sure what that labor would cost and if they’ll mess something up... especially on the rears where the perch ring...
