    Rear Wheel Bearing track life?

Honestly, probably me, with a large hammer, removing the hub/bearing assembly the first time at >200k miles circa 2011/2012. any that I've done since have gone back on with a good layer of antiseize between the bearing assembly and the knuckle.

    Rear Wheel Bearing track life?

So...fun update to this. I finally wore out cheapo bearing #8 between Oct 23 and Mar 2024. That's a solid 6 years for those just joining on an aftermarket wheel bearing. In this instance the stake hadn't backed out and match marks were still aligned so I must have just found the limit for...

I took my nsx to a drift day

2013 and 2015 both had skidpad opportunities, although I didn't get to take advantage in 2015 because I was instructing at that one. On track 2/3 groups and then drinking gatorade in any air conditioned space I could find during the 3rd session, lol.

I took my nsx to a drift day

Nicely done! I've done a wet skidpad or two and generally 1st gear is the only way I've been able to keep the dice rolling for more than half a circuit. 2nd is too tall to power through places where the water thins out and my bag of tricks stops short of clutch kicks. That said, I'm...

Tips to enhance NSX track performance?

Lucky! I haven't done Spa yet, but Road Atlanta and the Daytona road course are probably the highest v-max tracks I've been to in the States and managed not to have issues (Daytona was an even 150 into the T1 braking zone). Then again, there's also a lot of time between turns most places for...

Tips to enhance NSX track performance?

If I could time travel back 10-15 years and hand myself some money and shopping list for making my NSX more track-resilient (if not any quicker): I'd probably opt for a Masiv or other stouter radiator for the cooling capacity vs. the Koyo, and found a way to offset the weight. It's not like...

    Eastman PPF

I can tell you from, um, "extensive experimentation", that the front bumper cover, leading edge of the hood, side mirrors, leading edges of the side scoops, and the underside of the rockers and rear bumper "spats" are where lose the most paint with driving. I'd say for a weekend car, the...

***STICKY*** - DIY NSX YouTube videos

Both of y'all kill it on the thumbnails. I need to step my game up, lol. I have a habit of starting work on something, getting halfway into filming the process and then remember, "oh, I should've take a thumbnail shot with the new part" and then end up having to "duct-tape" something together...

    NSXPO 2023 pics

I can ask her for an official number, just eye-balling it from various photos it was more than 20 NC1 and another ~100 NA1/NA2

Has anyone had any track experience with the Cobra

Probably skewed towards the superior power/weight of the Cobra, but we can address this with some real-life data: Road America is unchanged in it's layout from "then" until "now", and we have stop-watches: Pole time in 1965 for a 289 Cobra with a pro driver on ye-olde tires was 2:38 and change...

    NSXpedition 2023

16 official so far, I expect we'll end up with a few more before go-time and then final count will depend on locals and weather. As a note Harper moved their C&C by a weekend so we may not line up with that event sadly.
